This piece is a snapshot of a lighthearted, robust and healthy dialogue between two good friends.
There was a time the collective "we" valued constructive conflict. Today, sharing an opinion exposes us to deep divisions and has made it increasingly impossible to freely and safely admit none of us know everything.
Extremism has become normalized. And being intolerant is now viewed as a value by some.
Isn't the true value of a dialogue to learn from a "seemingly" opposing perspective? Or is it more important to prove "we" are always right?
